 Ted Fines – Executive Director

 Ted provides leadership and vision for our affiliate  consistent with the overall mission and values set  forth by our Board of Directors. He promotes and  upholds the covenant with Habitat for Humanity  International. In addition, Ted reports to the Board  and is responsible for staff management, public  relations, donor solicitation, volunteer recruitment,  family selection, budget development and  adherence, oversight of the ReStore operations, and  ensuring that board policies and goals are  implemented by its committees. The Executive  Director is a non-voting member of the Board and  Executive Committee, and an ad hoc member of all  other Committees.

 Tanya Abbert – Office Manager

 Tanya oversees the day-to-day operation of the  office, including maintaining the affiliate’s  bookkeeping, as well as helping our Partner Families  navigate through the process of becoming  Homeowners. She coordinates with our SSO to  ensure mortgages are completed, and maintains all  of the current homeowner’s mortgage accounts.

 The Administrative Assistant performs organizational  and clerical functions to ensure an efficient and  professional image for our affiliate. Manages our  website and social media, assists with fundraising, as  well as assisting the Executive Director and Office  Manager with the daily operations of the affiliate.

 Sarah Melching – Volunteer  Coordinator
 smelching@habitatnemi.org

 Sarah coordinates volunteer groups and individuals  for projects on our construction site as well as in our  ReStore. Her duties include recruitment of groups for  specific projects, maintaining volunteer registrations  with the affiliate, and providing hands-on assistance  to the construction supervisor on site to ensure  volunteers get the most out of their experience with  us.

 Nichole Keys – ReStore Manager

 Nichole manages the Alpena Restore/Rethink  Boutique locations for the affiliate. She maintains  clean and safe sales floors, handles staff, volunteers,  schedules donation procurement and deliveries, as  well as keeping the mission of Habitat at the  forefront of the store operations.
