Our Services
The Habitat for Humanity Northeast Michigan ReStore is a nonprofit home improvement store that directly supports Habitat's mission of providing safe, affordable housing to those in need in our five-county service area.
Our ReStore is open to the public, so anyone can shop our inventory of new and gently used goods at a fraction of the retail price.
Our Hours
The ReStore is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Our Location
The ReStore is located in a 10,000-square-foot building attached to the Habitat offices at 2630 US-23 South, Alpena. Both the ReStore and offices have occupied this current space since October 2021.
Prior to that, the ReStore had been located on Chisholm Street, but it tragically burned down in 2019. The ReStore and offices have been operating successfully in the new location for five years now.

Discount Days! We proudly offer discounts on Tuesdays and Thursdays for Veterans, Active MIlitary Personnel, and Seniors.
Free Popcorn Fridays! Stop by on Fridays, grab a complimentary bag of popcorn, and enjoy browsing the store. You never know what treasure you'll discover.
Community Support
The ReStore serves as a community support system. Sales from donated materials are used to help more families in our service area, which covers five counties: Alcona, Alpena, Montmorency, Oscoda and Presque Isle.
By repurposing gently used goods and keeping household waste out of landfills, we are not only helping the environment but helping make home goods affordable to our customers.

Your donations make a difference. By donating household goods, furniture, appliances, building materials, and other usable items, you help local families access the furnishings and materials needed to create safe, comfortable homes.
Donations also help keep quality items out of landfills and provide affordable options for shoppers throughout the region. We are grateful for every donor who helps keep our shelves stocked and supports our mission.

Volunteer
Volunteering at the ReStore is a simple way to support Habitat for Humanity Northeast Michigan. Volunteers may be needed for sorting and prepping items, stocking shelves, loading trucks, and more. If you are interested in volunteering, stop into the office at 2630 US-23 South to pick up a volunteer application.
