Meet New People, Network with Other Professionals, and Make a Difference in Your Community

Join a Habitat Young Professionals group near you! Habitat Young Professionals (HYP) groups are popping up in communities throughout the country. Members are typically adults in their 20s and 30s, with a passion for the mission of Habitat for Humanity and an interest in networking, socializing, and making new friends.

Main areas of focus include:

• Fundraising: Fundraising to support Habitat’s efforts in building  affordable housing.

• Advocacy: Advocacy to educate decision makers and the  general public on poverty housing issues.

• Volunteering:  Volunteering to engage young professionals in  Habitat for Humanity’s volunteer opportunities.

Habitat for Humanity Northeast Michigan does not currently have a Habitat Young Professionals group.
