Alpena, July 31, 2018 – Habitat for Humanity of Northeast Michigan is pleased to announce, Sarah Melching has joined the team as the new Volunteer Coordinator. Melching assumed her new role on July 30th. Sarah comes to our community from Presque Isle and is well known in the Alpena for her numerous community volunteer activities.

Together we are stronger and it is in this spirit I begin my work with Habitat for Humanity. Quickly I have seen what an amazing team Habitat for Humanity of Northeast Michigan is and I am excited to be an addition to the team. I am looking forward to developing new relationships and strengthening existing relationship with partners, supporters and volunteers to be sure EVERY…ONE has a decent and affordable place to call home.”

Sarah holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Certificate in Fundraising Management. Sarah enjoys the outdoors, loves renovating homes, working on home projects and spending time with her husband and two boys.
